For example, when switching between locomotives, the app will disconnect from DCC and shut the engine off along with the lights. If you let your phone or tablet’s screen turn off, you will lose connection and you have to reconnect, you will temporarily lose control of your trains. Is it worth a buck a month? Yes just as long as the bugs are worked out and the disconnect issues are addressed.
