ShredSpots: Find Skate Spots

Tried the other 4 most pop apps and just busted compared to this one, this one actually works and doesn’t need geo tagged photos so you can add a google street view for better locations etc, lots of room for in depth descriptions I love that cuz I’m a talker, wish I had a add friend feature I’m a solo skater and my town doesn’t have too many peeps would love to add them here (: also many add a bio feature so I can see who’s adding these spots if they have socials or what kind of style they ride for the trick and spot they upload, again sick app if you need to find some spots, if you can’t find any.. boy get out there and add some 🔥

Great app. Super slept on. Uploading spots is quick and easy. I like this app cause unlike some other skate spot apps, I don’t have to be at the spot location in order to create it. I can just screenshot from some footy and upload it. There’s a lot of “spots” that get allowed that would never be considered spots by a skater. People will put any stair case or handrail on here. No matter how chunky or little runway it has. There’s good flatground everywhere. There’s no need to have flatground spots unless it’s a place to skate in the rain/snow. You can’t rate a spot on gnar factor which would filter out a lot of nonsense. I wish this app would take a Wikipedia approach and everyone could edit everyone’s spots and we go on good faith, or atleast suggest that an admin edit other peoples spots. The ShredSpots creator has taken it upon himself to create a good chunk of the skatepark listings, which is cool but it has led to a few inaccurate posts about obstacles. More obstacle options would be cool. A frame, Euro gap, Hip transitions, Jersey barrier, bump to bump, and finally. Slappy curbs! They shouldn’t be getting considered ledges. I wish I could comment on spots and clips. and we build more of a skate community on here. Spot history would be cool to have documented. it would be cool to know when your a couple blocks away from a famous spot. Maybe in some instances instead of having clips, it can link to the video it was performed in. This app is slept on by the skate community right now and the more dedicated users, the better.

I live in miami where i can’t really find spots, but this app helped me find spots to skate which i had never had known of, even i personally added a couple of spots of my own. Thank you so much to the developers they have made my life so much easier. finding spots alone is hard because you have to skate up and down every street just to find one spot, but with this app, all the spots are already there for you.
