The Fidelity APP has been a Godsend; making it much easier to manage my portfolio. But the latest iteration has been a disaster. The improvements listed just haven’t worked on my device at all. For me not having access to the APP when I’ve been used to it is a pain so I hope Fidelity sort it soon. For the record I have the latest IOS and everything else works fine. 17th Nov 2020 update - everything now works perfectly, once I’d logged into the website via PC & updated my details. in fact the login & app generally is much more concise than before. 10/10 to the developers 👍 Oct 2021 Update - app continues to improve, some of the idiosyncrasies which seemed to apply only to use on a phone (as opposed to a tablet device) have all disappeared. The app is quick, robust and functional. Keep up the good work guys!
Been using app for about 9 months. I like the simple format. However recently the prices have been defaulting back to several days ago. Refresh several times and sometimes it gives accurate data but then any other action and back to ‘default’. Only way to see actual ‘live’ price is to click on the stock name. Currently for example I have many shares worth 5p yet in the holdings list they are 3p... quite an impact (and shock when I review my holdings). This has only seemed to be the case in the last month or so. Thanks
I feel a bit underwhelmed about this new app. The UI is not very good. The two big buttons at the bottom (accounts and market) are way too big and take away valuable space. It is not very intuitive how to find the analysis summary of our investments. That said this is a nice report, but it would be great to be able to select just one account (SIPP vs ISA) or all together. The old app has a quick view of our investments portfolio at a glance with the performances. I like to login daily and check how my portfolio is doing. Please add this back. The total gain, returns and annualised returns is ok but show the split for accounts too and the breakdown of the portfolio with performances for each. Also having an option to check the change over 1 day, 1 week, etc would be great. These should be visible quickly. Three Analysis Report is very good but it's not the relevant information to check routinely. On the plus side I like that a can check my personal account information, make investment, etc, from the app.
