Lawnguru has done a good job of cultivating their customer base, enabling providers and contractors plenty of opportunity to utilize their service to make extra money and fill in the income gaps within their growing businesses. Lawnguru has helped us tremendously, especially in areas where we have wanted to grow into but havent been able to produce enough results on our own to make it worth while. Whether you want a few extra lawns or jobs to make some money or need to fill in some missing income, lawnguru is a great choice with great support behind it

Wow! I just got off the phone with a representative which I think I the founders girlfriend she was lying the whole time! I called to set my account up as a provider and she tells me that no one is available to approve applications on the weekend,okay no problem. But me and my husband sent all of our information in Friday morning and everything was going well until the representative that was texting me got mad at me because I was setting up the account for our family business. I used my husband name and put bank account that we share, the representative texting me starts to over question me like as if we were doing something wrong. Long story short we completed everything for 2pm Friday one representative said that the application/account was processed and setup. Then I go to the app today and it’s not set up I call the representative tells me because me and the text representative had words my application was denied. Huh????? How unprofessional is it to deny help when you need help. That brought me here because this Lawn Guru app is a JOKE! They took ALL of me and my husband personally information full social security number front/back of our license and for what to deny application, because a difference of opinion?!?!? They are fraud and this should be looked into before they start selling people information!

As a landscaping professional, I gave LawnGuru a fair shot, but I have to be honest—it’s just not sustainable from the service provider side. Most of the jobs listed on the platform fall between $20 and $40, and after LawnGuru takes their cut, you’re left with very little to justify the time, gas, equipment wear, and labor. The app attracts a lot of customers looking for bargain services, which is understandable, but it doesn’t translate into long-term or profitable work for professionals trying to run a legitimate business. There’s no room to scale or build customer relationships, and the fees eat into already thin margins. If you’re just starting out or looking for filler work on slow days, it might be worth checking out. But if you’re running a real business with insurance, payroll, and equipment costs, it’s a race to the bottom. I’d recommend building your own client base or using platforms that allow for fair pricing and recurring service agreements.
