Cube Timer for Rubiks Cubes

I just got my GAN 13 Maglev in the mail about a month ago, and when I learned how to solve it I would be asking my dad, mom or sister to time me. I had gotten a time of 1 minute 26 seconds. I was really proud of my self and so were my parents! But there was a problem, my family members were having a hard time to stop the timer. ( Keep in mind that they were timing me on my iPhone and we used the stopwatch that the phone provided) so I got this app and it has helped me to stop the timer by my self! Great app!

This app is not very user friendly and has a few usability bugs that I can’t get over. Firstly, the amount of settings for the app is laughably small. No font size options, no sounds for inspection time countdown, only a few preset inspection time options, no customizable decimal separator (and it doesn’t even default to the device default), and no options for +2 or DNF tracking. Additionally, if your device’s dark mode is on, you can’t change half of the settings as the option picker pop up has white text on a white background. Also, considering that there’s so much blank space on the screen, why can’t there be buttons (or the option to have buttons) for deleting times or generating new scrambles? There’s no logical reason why up should be delete and down is new scramble, and it takes me more presses to look up which gesture is which than to just have buttons.

Deleting times doesn’t actually remove them so they still show up in averages When you look at past times they are in a random order. And even worse, every time you view them they are in a *new* random order. Stopping is tap only, if you accidentally “swipe” (which you’ll probably do when trying to move quickly to stop the timer) the timer will keep going, you HAVE to tap. $4 for dark mode. Huge rip off for what probably took the developers all of 5 minutes to implement. Also each purchase is separate, $4 to remove ads (a little steep but fair enough) $4 for dark mode, and $4 for advanced statistics. I haven’t gotten the upgrade for advanced statistics because if they can’t figure out how to average some numbers and order a basic list I don’t trust that any advanced statistics would be worth their salt. You also can’t keep sessions between closing and opening the app. I like having a running average of 5 but if you want to see your average of 5 you need to solve a minimum of 5 times each time you use the app, can’t just do a quick 1 or 2 solve session when you have a second. This app has a great base in the fact the UI is simple and clean, has swipeable actions for delete/new mix, but unless they make some much need bug fixes this app is a no go.
