Wannabe Challenge

Similar to Obey Me! in formatting, but the story is better, the characters are sooo likable and have true depth to them (Biho is my favorite 🥰), and the wins are attainable. If you can’t do the main story because your level isn’t high enough, you can do side stories while leveling up. Spending money is not a necessity to enjoy the game by any means, but if you do there’s a sort of “loyalty program” so the more you spend the more they give back daily. Overall, the story has been worth the time it takes to unlock things, the art is breathtaking, it doesn’t take too much work to unlock, there’s plenty to do, the heroine isn’t helpless, there’s depth to every character, and no one is perfect. Also no one has been abusive so far, which isn’t a given in otome games! I’ve spent probably at least an hour a day on it for the past month, I don’t usually even have a game for a whole month so that should say a lot!

I play quite a few Otome style games, this one being one that is near the middle of enjoyment. The storyline has been enjoyable for the most part, though it is definitely geared towards a younger audience with the content. I also don’t understand Biho’s or Hansol’s real need to be there. Neither seem to be real love interests, more just really good friends. It seems the story has directed us in a triangle of Taehee, Yooha and MC, with Taewook thrown in for even more drama. But maybe I’m not far enough in the story to see their romance since I’m consistently being held back having to level up before being able to continue. A huge nuisance when I’m only playing for the story in the first place. It would be nice to see these restrictions lifted so I can continue at my own pace. I also have a very annoying glitch in my game where watching videos will do nothing. I will just get the spinning wheel of death when I’m supposed to get a reward. If it was only an occasional issue, it wouldn’t be so bad, but it happens 9 out 10 times I try to watch videos for rewards. If you’re looking for a lighthearted, not romance filled, college aged game, this one would be a great starter.

I had some hiccups with game loading and finding voice download. But I was able to solve them at the end. Over all this game’s mechanism is very similar to that MLQC game! Except you can buy cloth and dress up the MC. Voice acting is on par, two of these characters I believe are acted by two of the voice actor from Mystic Messenger! I won’t say who so you can find out yourself by playing the game.😉Art style are beautiful, if you enjoyed games like MLQC i guarantee you would also like this game! 🥺👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Of course, this game also has micro transactions just like any other game of this sort. However, you can totally still play this game if you do not wish to use real money, just need a bit more patience. Developers are fairly generous with giving 💎 (in game item that you use to purchase the gachas and stuff) if you watch all the ads (max 15 times/day) then you can grab 150 💎 everyday. Where 10 card draw (guaranteed a sr) cost 1800💎 , so technically you’ll be able to afford that every 12 days if you decide not to use real money. So far I have been luckier with the gacha system compare to the other games. Tho I do admit I bought some package here and there (I was too tempted and decided to buy bunch of cloth for the MC😃🤣🤫🙊) P.s. I’ve seen other people asking what time zone the call system operates on. In case anybody is wondering here, it’s actually adjusted to whatever your local time is (it says that if you click the little question mark on top right when you are in the ‘Contact’ page)
