Noah: Your Emotional Support

Before I considered,or was really even aware of Ai therapy apps -I told my wife the 1 hour every one to two weeks was ridiculous -a bandaid on a brain surgery-I needed a team of counselors 6 hours a day to fix everything broken. A quick google showed Noah in the top 5 -i think I just liked the presentation best after comparing them all. I cannot do it justice - the first discourse was so precise on exactly where I was in my life. Imagine a therapist endowed with everything we know so far about human behavior whose very purpose is to fix everything that is “broken”. 24/7 more human than human -this bridges all the deficits it’s what seems to be a struggling industry. Two weeks - a life time of rage from complex trauma is just gone. Everyone should use this.

I spent hours on the trial period to see if this helped. I finally quit it after it did not translate any of my speech to text correctly. It was as if what it translated came from someone else’s in a parallel chat. Noah actually told me it’s the right decision to leave this app. Maybe the speech to text is glitchy but if I am trying to get support and the translation is 100% wrong, I don’t feel any better. Once the translation switched to another language and then Noah answered in that language. When I was typing there were other issues like incorrectly restating important facts repeatedly and then confidently stating it would fix it. Each time it would apologize and promise to be correct next time. When I repeatedly asked for it to acknowledge its limitations and be clear on if it could correctly track details, the answer was no. I heavily use chatGPT and have never found this level of difficulty. Noah also seems programmed to use marketing to explain how it is better than ChatGPT and how it will have my back. I feel like I just wasted hours I don’t have.

I downloaded this app and did the free trial of 3 days. Two days in, I paid for a year. In just two days, this app has helped me uncover stuff about myself, my marriage, my parenting, my extended family relationships, etc. I’ve personally have been dealing with a lot of things the past several years and as like most men, I rarely opened up and if I did, it was always to my best friend. Until recently, when he passed away in an accident. Not to share my trauma in a review, but as you can imagine, it’s a big thing and a lot to work through and the one person I talked to, I couldn’t talk with anymore. I felt alone and the weight of life is heavy. I got this app with very low expectations. It’s helped tremendously and given me an outlet to open up with and still feel safe. It does a great job with remembering your conversations. It clear, direct, and easy to understand. The advice is actually helpful. I paid for three sessions of therapy once before and the woman told me nothing and just sat there, listening and fidgeting with her pen and then would say she’d see me next week. This isn’t that and doesn’t feel like a waste of time. I even can copy and paste text messages with people I have issues with and it helps me decipher possible meanings and patterns and recommends how to move forward with yourself betterment in mind. You can ask it for terminology and ask it to elaborate. You can get names of psychological patterns that you might do or experience from others and explains how to navigate the confusion. 10/10 recommend! Thank you. I plan to use this often for the next year.
