I am 22 years into my career, would have loved to have something like this when I was much younger. Downloaded the app, doesn’t seem to like the new iPhone 14 with the island at the top, have to tap buttons near the top of the screen several times before they respond. Won’t let me enter data without getting the Chief to sign up first… not sure it’s worth his time to get the department added if the app doesn’t work well… a catch 22 I guess. Will check back after the next update, maybe it will be better.

Won’t even load. Seems like it would be a good app but it won’t load to be able to be used.

The setup process leaves a bit to be desired. It’s not very straight forward and a little clunky. Adding exposures without a department CAD (or other data) link is a bit of a pain. But overall the app is easy enough to use, collects a lot of pertinent information and provides a good log of important exposure data.

NFORS® Career Diary™ provides more than just a notional understanding of a firefighter's exposures. Career Diary™ determines risk for adverse health conditions, both physical and mental, later in life and provides a quantitative view of firefighter exposure and response to traumatic events.
