Catch It Korean: Speak & Voca

I have been casually learning Korean for years but I’ve finally hit that point where things are clicking easily. I’ve tried like 15 different apps,no joke. This is the first one that’s actually been working for me. Teaching me the phrases that I actually want and not just like….at the airport,in a restaurant. I actually learn words and phrases that are common in daily life. And it’s not overwhelming. And very easy to review previous words. Worth it to pay for premium imo. I don’t normally leave reviews but this app has been like a godsend to me(I don’t know if that’s the right word)but seriously. Super helpful.

Edit: The issues I had were resolved after the app apparently deleted itself and I reinstalled and gave it another go. I was able to sign up with my preferred email. So far I find the app a bit confusing and I’m not quite sure why they think it’s worth $200 for a yearly premium subscription. It incorporates google translate into the in-app “dictionary” which is probably easy to add in but knowing it’s nowhere near as accurate as Papago makes it seem like a useless addition. The idea of being able to form study groups is still appealing though and still exploring the app with my five minutes a day.

This app is very great for me, but for beginners that are just learning through this app will find it extremely difficult to learn through this game. The second thing is recording your voice to match the sentence your trying to say. How can you say a sentence without the speed of the speaker slowed down? You’ll just not here the small sounds of “kae” instead “ae”
