All the information you could ever want now available at the tip of your fingers. The app offers ease of access to the user who’s searching for a variety of information. It’s obvious a lot of time and effort was put in to develop this app. This is a true show of transparency for the agency. From CAD (live calls for service) and traffic activity to the latest information on sexual predators and information on Cold Cases they’ve really packed a lot into this app. The notifications option is by far the best feature of this app. Knowing critical incidents that are occurring our community is invaluable.

I just want to thank my sheriff for having this up so just in case something happens I’ll be on my phone now. I just want to give a good big thanks to all the sheriffs in our county thanks guys you’re doing a great job!!!!

About Hernando County Sheriff

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive
app, designed to enhance communication between the HCSO and
Hernando County residents, businesses, and visitors. Information available
includes: emergency notifications, active calls and traffic crashes, sex
offender information, crime prevention information, job line information and
much more. Citizens may submit a tip (including an image, video, or audio)
directly to Crime Stoppers through the app. The Hernando County Sheriff’s
Office will use the app to alert citizens (in specific geographical areas) of
vital information regarding law enforcement activity and/or to share crime
prevention information. The app will be integrated with all of HCSO’s
current social media platforms.
