We cannot check in unless we submit everyone’s passports. You have to scan the passport and cannot manually type it in. But everyone is in different countries so impossible. Zero common sense!!! Will never ever travel to Hungary again. Airbnb should inform us of this hassle BEFORE you cannot cancel anymore. Stay away from Hungary and Airbnb…book a hotel instead, million times easier!!!

It requires access to your camera to take a photo of your passport. How is this data handled and stored? We are staying in Hungary at a AirBnB and our guest is requiring us to upload our passports through this app. However, who actually makes this app and how is sensitive personal information being transmitted and stored? Apple states this app does not collect personal information. In fact it does just the opposite without telling you where and how it’s going to be used.

Just let us use a damned webpage instead of adding more app clutter to our phones. Also it’s intrusive to ask for all this information, if the owner of the property we stay at wants it for security reasons okay, but it’s none of your business absent cause. (Property owners are perfectly capable of familiarizing themselves w GDPR)
