bad signal on this version 2.2.7 just change asssap and using an iphone that is more quality on gps and signal app just hope can be soon to 2.2.8 or 2.2.9

I’ve had this drone for approximately 2 months and I must say I’ve flown it quite a bit. But you never know what to expect out of it. Some flights are very smooth but for the most part the gps lock is at best mediocre. Several times with 15 or more satellites it would take off, hover around 5 meters and then drop like a rock. I’ve also had it struggle with altitude rising and dropping on it’s own and completely ignore controller interaction. I’m returning this drone because it’s just unpredictable. And yes, I complete horizontal and compass calibrations on every flight.

After my GF pre-purchased the Zino 2 on Cyber Monday (Dec 1) as a XMas present for me (Dec 25) - it finally arrived on Feb. 1st! Awesome!!!! It is now Feb. 15th and I have yet to use the drone due to failures with the mandatory updates that must be accomplished in order to control the drone. The third update displayed: 99% complete Upgrading PW - reset (with a timer-counter that went past 1200 seconds - that’s 20 mins!) with no changes. So I restarted everything as instructed to do by the UI and now the transmitter is no longer binding to the drone. No worries! The app has a rebinding applet! Yes and No. Yes there is a rebinding applet. No, it doesn’t work!!! After 2 weeks of ownership - I have yet to even start the drone, no less fly it. I have essentially received a very expensive brick! GF is very not pleased!!! >:/ FYI - several other ppl on the internet including a professional drone videographer have reported similar probs, but I seem to be the only one to have lost rebinding ability. Hubsan- I hope you’re listening! And more importantly,I hope you’re fixing your very flawed firmware “Upgrade” software!!! Saddest thing about this bad situation is that the hardware is absolutely top notch. The drone feels solid and extremely well designed. Likewise the transmitter is well designed with the display giving you all of the important readings including number of GPS sat signals; distance/height/speed and an FPV on your attached smartphone screen. Looks like it’s awesome when it works. Which it doesn’t. 1 Star is generous!!
