Peel Off

It’s fun, but it’s kinda broken, because the way to get gems, (or whatever the currency system in the game is), is very broken in that the more money you save, the more gems will fall from the things you break while playing the game.. you can have 50million gems saved up, and make 3 million a game, but as soon as you spend all of that on upgrades, you will literally make 1-3 THOUSAND per-round... meaning that you’ll be stuck on a level for a long time before you finally pass it, (whether that be by upgrading to the point of actually being able to pass, or by just getting a decent RNG setup for that round, and finding a relatively clear way to the finish line..) I SHOULD NOT BE ON ROUND 125 AND ONLY MAKE 1000 GEMS ON A WINNING PASS.... that is broken.

First let me say that I love the concept of this game. However the gameplay and ads kill the good experience. The ads actually cause gameplay lag and also cause the app to crash, that’s how many there are, CONSTANTLY (I didn’t have lagging or crashing on airplane mode). And the difficult to get power-ups also kills the experience. Half the fun is getting power ups to destroy blocks quicker, but after just a couple levels, it’s almost impossible to get a power up without buying one before the level begins (again, by watching an ad), and even then it almost always wears off before you can get another power up. Honestly just disappointing overall. Hoping for an update and fewer ads and then maybe I’ll come back.

This game is fun. My only complaint is that when you pay to remove ads, you actually don’t remove all of the ads. The free upgrades you get for watching an ad are okay, but I don’t want them and having no way to opt out kinda defeats the purpose of paying to remove the ads. You can’t upgrade until you watch those ads so it’s just as inconvenient as the ads that would play after every single round.
