MasterLectures

As a Husband and a Father of a 10 year old daughter, a 5 year old and a 6 month son, I get tired and it seems like there is no time for myself. Until I discovered MasterClass… when I drive I study, when I’m in bed I study, when I’m up early in the morning I study… everything I can do to learn more about Jesus is a blessing for me. I can pause, rewind, save etc. whatever you do, do it with faith and a zealous heart for Christ

Hi. I was asleep in my faith for a long time. If, like me, you found yourself wanting to get a good understanding of the Bible—perhaps for the first time in your life—then you need to watch these videos. I’ve subscribed for about 2-3 months now and I’ve really enjoyed every lesson. Gary M. Burge’s series on John is excellent. I strongly recommend starting there. If you are looking for short videos, then consider Ryan P. O’Dowd’s Proverb series. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Proverbs 8:33

The teachers have good reputations and they have done the homework! The meaning of the words in the original language, review of commentaries and maps and history and cross references is presented, to help us understand and apply the word of God in our lives. The 15 minute segments are a great way to learn any of these topics in our busy lives. I love the few courses I've gone through so far, on taking care of God's creation, and now on the book of 1 Peter. It's like going to a Bible college class in the comfort of your own home! It's clear that the teachers love the Lord Jesus Christ and follow Him so it's not just "head knowledge", they teach inspired by the Holy Spirit. Also the videos are high quality, and the app is flawless, no bugs :).
