Reviews: What People Think About Impulse - Brain Training

When I first got this app I just wanted to improve my brain and stuff because yes but after getting the game and after trying it out, it is quite fun. I could honestly play this for a while without getting bored because they have a pretty big collection of games to play, they could vary from relaxing to intense but all of that is up to you. When you first get the app it asks you a few questions about you and what you want to improve and after that it actually helps you improve those areas that you chose. I like the fact that before every game you play it tells you what that game can help you improve and then a little tutorial on how to play the game and that’s it, you just go straight into the game with a goal. This is my first time making a review about an app but this has been one helluva fun app, obviously there will be adds to support the app or you could buy the subscription but even without it you can still play the games that they have to offer or well most of them but it is still pretty fun and at least your not getting bombarded with adds every second and you can skip them pretty fast as well. In conclusion, it’s a pretty good app for training your brain and it is quite fun as well, there are some adds but not too many and there is a subscription to stop the adds and to unlock everything, I suggest to give it a chance to see if it’s your cup of tea and if it’s not then I guess this app is not for everyone.

I’m a huge nerd and I love phone games. Games that make me think. Games that challenge my skills. Games that can help me in life. Games that I can put down and pick up for short play, or longer if I have the time. But not ones where I have to get hella anxiety or play for a long time to see rewards. Short and sweet is a fun decompressorecipe for me. I’ve done role-play, I’ve done solitaire, I’ve done words with friends. This is hands-down my favorite one. I’m a great problem solver and designer because of these games. Ya girls brain is SHARP 🔪 My mind can’t help but find solutions and multiple ways to solve a problem. The ability to see everything as a solvable puzzle from an objective standpoint helps me in work, relationship, and home life. And the games scratch my ADHD brain with the variety. There’s literally a game for any mood you’re in, and it’s brain food instead of brain rot. You can even take a personality test to understand yourself better. Who knew a little game like this could be so deep? It’s amazing. I also love that there’s streaks for it. I wish there was a way I could connect more with friends through it like Duolingo does. Have quests, friend streaks, etc.. I feel like it would help me remember to do it every day so I can keep my streak going lol. Maybe I should just tell all my friends about it so we can all remind each other until the app introduces friend streaks 😎 Solid 11/10!!

I really enjoy this game because I’m someone w/ a long list of mental health diagnoses such as: OCD, Generalized Anxiety/ Panic Attacks, PTSD & ADHD. have a 2.5 year old & busy business owner. However, between long days with my daughter on the weekends (or days without her daycare because I’m working from home) I can get VERY overstimulated. That is what will set off my fidgeting and not being able to focus/ get anything done.. basically I need a little “time out” but there’s obviously many times I’d love to do a 20/30 min meditation, but it’s not realistic. This gives me something to focus on, and it truly helps my unwind. I have a photographic memory so the games are actually “fun” bc I don’t have to stress too much or get frustrated by the games. I really enjoy how it only takes maybe 5 minutes out of the day but those 5 minutes are a life saver. I’ve tried doing journals- which I’ll do but sometimes I don’t have access/ time to do that. Basically this is “mom’s time out” where I can just reset my mind and mood when needed. Definitely recommend, But especially if you have things like OCD or ADHD it’s actually relaxing! (I usually don’t write reviews good or bad; but I wanted to share my experience if this helps even one person out and convinces one person to try it :)
