Helix Tuner

We were cautious to give this a try and it took a while maybe a month to really fully understand how evolved and fresh tuning with your eyes and your ears at the same time in a visual pattern instead of using a meter and trying to drill it down to zero, we are slowly using this all the time and have become so enamored with the process that we rarely use other tuners - 4 stars (not 5) because the app does NOT handle landscape mode in our I-pad (only vertical)

You likely heard the adage, "it was like I took a blanket off my monitors". This tuner had the same effect on my guitar in the room. It's amazing what effect a tight tuning spec can have on complex chords, but the real test is hearing simple triads sound so sweet. The psychoacoustics actually come to mind (what did you just call me?) Helix tuner makes the popular clip on tuner sound... Well just saying well worth dealing with your phone. Automatic mode it's so simple. Just turn it on and forget it.

Coming from a high action freak - this is the only “tuner” that gets me anywhere near this close to spot-on in tune across the fretboard. I don’t get how or why but it’s amazing. If this developer ever finds a way to get this pre-loaded onto a future Snark tuner or something through some sort of partnership, I’ll be first in line to buy. The only downside is that it’s on my phone and not a clip-on!
