Let me preface this by saying there is something special about exploring on your own, coming across random stranger missions, rare weapons, legendary animals, etc, especially for your first play through, but when you’re 100 hours in, or on a repeat play through, this map makes it so much fun to hunt down specific items and stranger missions and treasure hunts and what not. You can’t always get a super precise location on some things since the map doesn’t zoom in super well, but it’s gets you around where you need to be. I don’t usually write app reviews, but whoever made this seriously deserves the recognition.

I love this app! It’s super helpful. For some reason when I close the app, my selections go away and reverts back to default. It’s kind of annoying to have to go back in and change it back to how I like it (I like to only have the categories I’m looking for at that moment turned on, because the map doesn’t zoom in very far and it gets overwhelming to have everything turned on.) the exotics map is also not very accurate, but I get that it might be a work in progress kind of like the animal heatmaps. I’d love if the app would save my selections with my account so it would stay how I left it even if I close the app/go to my computer instead of my phone. It would also be great if we could zoom in further. Overall really useful, and I bought pro because I want to support the development of this app! I hope it keeps getting better.

It does what it’s supposed to. Unfortunately you can’t zoom in very close, and the markers get bunched up and are hard to click on without clicking something that’s right on top of it, it also makes it hard to pinpoint the exact locations of things without a close zoom. Certain items and locations, like things in chimneys or Valarian Root/Ginseng Elixers and Event Areas aren’t on the map. You can only mark up to 200 things, unless you pay $4.99 for Pro, and mind that it does not increase the zoom. Plus, I’m guessing since this map is powered by Google Maps, if you click the Google in the bottom corner, it will take you to Pakistan.
