Now that Apple Watch For Family Member app has been released this AAC Watch app is going to be the one to get. It isn’t dependent on the iPhone for programming. It works on the watch for the child which becomes a stand alone watch. Family Sharing is permitted. This app for Apple Watch is very simple to use. You can make extra buttons by using emojis for the picture. The spoken text can be different than the text on the screen. The speech is extremely clear and understandable. It is very simple to make extra buttons. To switch between buttons one can choose either swipe the screen or turn the wheel. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stats is that it is buttons only. I haven’t found a way to add folders with buttons inside of them. Also, haven’t found a way to change the voice. Editing to add: I am dropping a star to 4 out of 5 due to the Backup feature for a Family Member doesn’t seem to function for me. Yes, the Family Member watch is on wifi , cellular and charged daily. I can get my watch (primary pair to iPhone) to back up but not my son’s (Family Member which uses a kind of temporary pair). Also I don’t find a way to share a Talking Point/button like an Apple Watch can share a Watch Face with another Apple Watch. My son locks his watch with too many passcode attempts several times a week. The only way to undo or fix it is to unpair and repair, then re-download GoTalkWow. Then I have to re-add each Talking Point/button. It’s getting old and I am only adding 6 buttons. I left a voicemail after a phone call and no one returned my call.
