DataMelon PRO: Stock Analysis

Generally the app is data/information rich and very intuitive to use. Absent a feedback link, the concerns are expressed here. I have an interface issue that should be able to be resolved quickly. The style and timeframe of the main chart screen does not stay as selected/modified between stock changes. If I want to view a line chart for a 1-yr period, once set, as soon as I change stocks the chart reverts to the candle at 3-mo default. Very annoying. I’d also like it if the user could change the chart background color to dark. Additionally, there appears to be some “typos” in the “Cash Flow” section. Also, every stock “searched” ends up in my “portfolio”. There should be a button to add it if desired, rather than having to go back and delete stocks from the list. Quite a few of the values are expressed as “K” (thousand) instead of what should be “M” (million). I’m still evaluating the app during my 7-day free trial, not sure if I’ll stick with it. It’s not an expensive subscription, and it’s nice to have so much data/info available in one place, but the chart interface could be a bit more robust (and user friendly).

This app is a great fine if you spend time to understand what it offers & how it works. Without taking time to learn the app, many may get frustrated. Investing time to learn is one key to success!

This is the Swiss Army knife of stock trading! It can be used as quantitative multi-factor stock evaluator, a technical analysis tool and a trading simulator as well. The chart is fast and beautiful, definitely the best among similar products. The quantitative evaluator allows one to rank a stock among all stocks or within its sector based on various fundamental and technical factors. One can adjust the weightings of these factors to generate a composite percentile score for a stock according to his favorite investment style. Serious app for serious stock investors and traders!
