Halloween Farm: Family Story

I love this game. I've been playing it for a few weeks now and my town is getting better every time I play! I love the scarecrows, vampire, vultures, spider, warewolves, trick or treaters, all other characters, and all crops. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I've finally found the perfect game. It took me a little while to learn all aspects of the game and how it's similar to other farming/town building games, and it does have a similarity regarding the rules to the other similar kind of games, so it's easy and fun to play. The graphics are great, and you earn coins and materials quick. The crops are so cute and grow fast, and expanding is easy. Every "factory" is so cute, and I love the zombies when building them, and in other areas of the town. This game is great! Play it!

There is review written by clever girly and it is spot on. The game does have great graphics and I play some farm games that I love and have played for years. I have also done some in game purchases and gladly because I felt I wasn’t forced to and I felt I was getting a good deal for my money. This game while I would have loved to put this on my daily game play, forces you to make purchases in order to even continue and I’m not very far into it. I really don’t like that. When I had a problem with the game I sent and email to report the issue (the subscription wouldn’t allow me to actually make the purchase. The subscription was $3.00 a month) they replied with they will fix with the update. Well I waited weeks and now the update is finally available and the subscription cost is still not a function I can do but won’t anyway because they made it $8.00 a week. Quite a huge jump and they took some options away. Well, that is just 1 of the issues I have found but again I agree with clevergirly and sadly have to delete the game because without making a purchase there is no longer a game to play. I am stuck I have no storage and therefore it won’t allow me to move forward. I’m really disappointed but I’m sure there will be other games that have the same type of play. I would rather use my data storage for something that I can actually enjoy. Could have been a great game.

Pros: graphics are good and colors nice. Some cute elements like with the scarecrow and plant... the little town and trick or treaters was a nice touch...really this could have been a great game BUT... Cons: sadly once you have played just long enough to get interested the storage for your farm goods will fall woefully and repeatedly short of what you need more or less forcing you to spend money if you want to progress anytime this decade. I don’t mind paying reasonable amounts for in game stuff for a good game...but this feels more like a money grab. You just don’t get much and you would have to buy more far too often. Yes there are watch ad options for additional items but again... you don’t get much for your time. You would spend more time watching ads than you would playing. I’m not sure if the creator just didn’t trust that their game was good enough to stand on its own and get in game purchases without the push via no storage (I think it was), or if it was just outright greed but either way...they epic failed what could have been a decent game I would have otherwise spent money on. Uninstalling unfortunately.
