App Profile: Orthodox Calendar †

CALENDAR

∙ Convenient vertical scrolling calendar.
∙ Calendar can be displayed in Julian and Revised Julian style.
∙ For each day, a list of commemorated feasts, saints and icons of the Mother of God is displayed with the ability to view detailed information on them.
∙ In the "Day Prayers and Readings" section, there are Gospel readings for each day of the year (using the arrow buttons at the bottom right to navigate between readings).
∙ There is a function for displaying birthdays for people from the contact list. For this, the person from the contact list must have a date of birth set and the application must be allowed access to contacts. Birthdays are displayed in the calendar with blue dots and on the day page.

THE BIBLE
(included in the full version of the app)

∙ All books of the Bible (KJV version).
∙ The font can be enlarged using the icon in the upper-right corner "Tt".
∙ Use the arrow buttons in the lower right corner to navigate between the chapters of the selected book.

PRAYER BOOK
(included in the full version of the app)

∙ The most sought-after prayers are collected: morning, evening, communion, and for various occasions.
∙ The font can be enlarged using the icon in the upper-right corner "Tt".
∙ It is possible to read in both page-by-page (horizontal) and vertical scrolling mode (switches to the Tt font settings menu).
∙ If there are no prayers you need and you would like to see them here, please write about it in the review.

OTHER USEFUL FUNCTIONS

∙ In the "Search" menu, you can search for saints, icons of the Mother of God, prayer book.
∙ In the Notification Settings menu, you can set up notifications about holidays, posts, and birthdays.
∙ You can add a widget with brief information by day to the widget screen.

Most of the app's functions do not require an internet connection.

The Bible, prayer book are included in the full version of the application and are paid functionality.
