I’ve been playing nearly every single day for two months straight, and I had progressed fairly far, into the fifth of eight rooms. I loaded up the game today and the entire thing had reset to level one. I had connected my Facebook account earlier, so I tried to reload my progress that way, but no dice. This is obviously very irritating and needs to be fixed.
Update: the next day everything was back the way it should be, as if nothing had gone wrong. I guess it was a glitch?
For the actual game, it’s nice to find a decorating game that isn’t the same bland “match three shapes/colors” all the others seem to be. The English can be a bit off sometimes, but I think it’s charming. Ads are kind of annoying, but it keeps the game free so I won’t complain too much. Most levels are fair, but there are a few that are infuriatingly tough. Give it a look if you’re bored of Homescapes.

tl;dr: Game is decent for what it is, but ads and blatant cash-grabs can make it hard to play.
The graphics are cute and the gameplay is just as good as any other solitaire or home design game on the App Store. There are a few annoying drawbacks, though. For example, every time you start a level it auto-selects all the power ups you have, so you have to manually unselect them whenever you start (or re-start) a level. They obviously do this hoping that you’ll accidentally use up your power ups and spend real money on micro transactions to get more. My second biggest problem is the amount of ads. When I first downloaded you would only see ads if you chose to (like to watch an ad to gain coins or something), but after the most recent update they play an ad every single time you finish a level. It borderline makes the game too frustrating to want to play. The English translations are also pretty sloppy, but that’s easy enough to ignore (it’s not like anyone is playing a game like this for the story).

The story is genuinely unique among “home/spa/hotel/fairy/restaurant” design games. I like that a lot.
I love the innocence. It’s an intelligent game, but it’s still sweet—without being false, sugary sweet.
I’m withholding my fifth star for 2 reasons:
1. There was an important part in the story when we learned that the bear was actually (I looked away or accidentally tapped and now forevermore will not know the mystery. Can we like, get that scene replay back??)
2. Almost every game of this sort asks for ratings before you get to the, “rip out your hair/impossible” levels. There are a number of similar games that I’m like, “Love! Love! Love!..... 468 time for one freaking level—AND I CANT WIN—; I am so done!!!” (Angry smolder.)
If this company makes any of them, I have plenty of review I would like to give.
3. Some of the card things are hard to understand. I get a bonus thing to help but... don’t understand how it works. It’s explained... once. And it doesn’t need to be explained EVERY level... but lots of the boosters confuse me.
Overall, I think this game is truly unique and I appreciate the gentleness and true-to-life innocence of the storyline. That’s a beautiful thing. Four stars with an inclination towards five... but I’m gonna ride it out first. Well conceptualized and designed.
