CRED: UPI, Bills, Credit Cards

While most features on the platform perform as expected and I have never faced any difficulties with the core competency of making online credit card payments. On the other hand, travel bookings are horrendous! I made booking on the platform, received a confirmation email and 3 days before travel I get a notification that the vendor cancelled the booking. How can the company provide a confirmation email without ensuring availability of rooms? To add to the matter the vendor had rooms available on their own website but apparently had none for CRED customers. While the provided me an “alternative” the alternative was half the price and the company expected me to take this alternative at the same price point. Finally, the customer care representatives do not have the courtesy to refer to customers as ‘sir’ or ‘maam’ and have the audacity to refer to a customer by their first name without even asking for basic permission. I have always been a promoter of the brand believing it is Unicorn from India and I wanted to support the brand but I never expected such poor service and customer service.

Have always helped me remind of payments, provided cash back, quick payments and good offers and products. I remember I once had an issue with a merchant which did not deliver the product and I lost my cred points for it, when I raised it with cred later, they did restore my points too.

I made my first payment on CRED and the amount was charged from my bank, but the payment was not done to the card. It was a big amount, well at least for me and now I will get it back in my account after several days. What the hell!!! First of all you have a policy that whoever has a good cibil score are eligible and now this the service you give to people who work hard to maintain their cibil and pay their dues within time. My credit card payment has never bounced. This is the first time it happened. Very disappointing CRED. For any startup’s service should be top notch because people trust in you but this ain’t the case here.
