Update: after a few iterations, Customer service refunded my annual subscription and provided complementary access to the company’s other 2 apps. So while this app is not useful for grades 4+, their customer service team made it right. I would encourage the company to change their marketing for Reading IQ App is a complete ripoff for grades 4 and above - maybe 15 books in total for all of grades 4-6. Customer service acknowledges books for these levels are limited and actually suggested selecting the lower levels. Right - I have a 5th grader and you want me to give them 2nd grade books. The worst part is you can’t see the selections available until *after* you pay!!!! Terrible product with false advertising!!!

After contacting again the readingiq tech team were able to fix the problem and now we have access to all books For about 6 months we haven’t been able to access any books on the app except the ones he read before. I paid for the app and everything but haven’t been able to utilize it. I sent in several messages about this and the replies are always they are working on it? It’s very frustrating because it’s been a complete waste of my money

I signed up last night for the free one month and had every intention to pay the monthly subscription but this morning after a few attempt on my phone and iPad this will not be the case. To start every time I opened the app it would take me to creating a new profile even though I had three set up already for my daughters. When I would click the back button to see if I could go back the screen goes blank until I close out the app completely. I repeated that step a few times like I said above. I even tried to creat another child profile just so I could see if it would let me go to the main screen so I can cancel the subscription and now it’s telling me we can’t add that child right now. I’ve emailed support but we’ll see since I just read the other reviews saying customer support isn’t great. I should have done this through iTunes at least stopping subscriptions through there is easy. DO NOT BUY.
