This is a fantastic gratitude app: it checks all the boxes of what I wanted: (1) Has reminders/notifications so I don’t forget; (2) Gives prompts - super helpful hints about what kinds of things you might be grateful for. So great when I am feeling tired and uninspired! (3) respects my privacy by not collecting data; (4) one-time paid option which I just like because it helps developers not have to sell my data. One thing I noticed a couple other apps have is the ability to record my location and a photo. That would be nice but I can live without it, especially since I like to write my gratitude journal at night. Also it would be cool if the app had a “How do you feel” question with maybe a chart. All-in-all though this is the best gratitude app I have found so far.

The concept is simple. Three things you’re grateful for today. There’s even prompts to start the gratitude juices flowing. Done consistently, research shows that gratitude and slowly improve the quality of your life by improving the thoughts in your head. Previously I was a pen and paper person for this. But dedication to the process meant I’d had to carry a notebook everywhere to record daily gratitudes. With this app the gratitude is always in the palm of my hand. I love that. There are other apps that do this. They will also do 6 other things at the same time. This app is just the gratitude. And that’s great for me bcz I don’t want the clutter in my brain of 5 other reasons I have to use an app.

I’ve tried a number of different gratitude, journals and apps, and this is the first one that I’ve actually stuck with. I really appreciate the lack of ads and micro transactions. Also, I really love the varying prompts every day. It’s much easier to answer specific questions about something to be grateful for rather than just a generic “ what are you grateful for?”. the ability to secure my data as well as exported means I’m not locked into this app if I ever need to change platforms too.
