Countdown Widget with Emoji

This is my favorite countdown app, after trying all the current options - I’m impressed and grateful this is free. My greatest wish is to be able to hide the menu bar (or at least that the menu bar would visually align with one of the events, so it doesn’t distract so much).

I was using another countdown application before discovering this one. The first thing I happily noted was the way the developer counts the remaining days in the countdown. In the other app, for example, if an event occurs the next day it shows two days remaining which is, in my mind, inaccurate. I also like the way I can quickly insert an event into the event from my calendar, saving much time. I gave it only four stars because the icon I select for display, using my iPad, does not appear in my list of events until I re-open the app and select the icon again. Hopefully the developer can correct the app — or correct me if I am doing something wrong. Request: In a future iteration I would love to be able to insert my own photos rather than be limited to the Apple icons.

I downloaded this app for $9.99/ lifetime after my widget calendar that I had been using for years started glitching. I live by my calendar. A minute after I downloaded it I realized it wasn’t a calendar after all. I thought that once I clicked on a couple of the already downloaded dates, they would show up into a calendar. Once I saw that wasn’t the case I realized this was not a calendar app and I needed to contact the admin to see if they could help me. I was hoping they could possibly refund my $$9.99 and I would buy their actual calendar emoji app. However they have not replied to either of my messages in spite of their claim that they usually get back to you in a few hours. I reached out to them last night immediately after I bought the app and again this morning. Nothing from them. Huge thumbs down!!!
