Every American should own Abridge News. It gives multiple perspectives on different issues without having an apparent bias - which is incredibly rare. This app helps you build your own opinion on news events rather than just inheriting that of the newspaper or website that you frequently read. I genuinely tell everyone I know to download the app. I hope that in the future Abridge News offers even more frequent coverage of the news!!
Makes today’s headline story easily digestible while presenting a range of responses...to help keep readers get out of their news bubbles. Because you can rate each opinion/position, it’s interactive and fun—Abridge shows you what others have voted after you rate your agreement or disagreement with an article’s position. Clearly a hard-working team of go-getters, the Abridge staff has worked successfully to transition from email and FB versions to this app. Congratulations, and keep up this much-needed news reporting!
Wow, I have to say this is a unique and innovative way to not only stay up to date with current events, but also engage in a deeper more thought provoking way. I found myself getting a lot of enjoyment swiping thru topics and actually reading each viewpoint ... where I would’ve expected myself to stay on one side (at least directionally). This seems potentially revolutionary - balanced viewpoints on topical issues today?!?! Great job folks. I’ve really enjoyed thus far. Would highly recommend to any iPhone user.
