Almost perfect.
Simple and good. Nothing fancy or useless Could use more species, though. Mulberry is not on the list and there is lots of that around here. Would be nice to be able to see the species list by weight.

Does exactly what it says
Nice clean interface. Easy to use. Hardest part is correctly measuring the diameter of the log halfway between its ends. Next challenge is determining if the log is heavier or lighter than a “standard” green log of the selected species. But those are judgement items that no app is likely to define for you.

Excellent tool for arborists
If you rig wood and you want to become more familiar with the weight of different species of trees this app will help. You won’t be an overnight success but you’ll have one more tool to help in situations you’re unsure of.
