I’ve been using this from when it started, and I have to say it’s gotten a lot better over time. However, there are still a few times where the app detects that I (and a lot of other people apparently) am playing a higher register, which would probably be caused by the app picking up the overtones you might see on an oscilloscope.

I’ve been playing the clarinet for about 2 years now, but always felt that my band teacher could be helping me a bit more. This app helped me to really learn the notes and be comfortable with slurring. This app helped me to be more confident while playing and it taught me some things i didn’t even know existed, like certain tongue positions for different notes and how those positions make the air move faster to help you hit the high notes. Who knew? I would’ve been playing those notes in band and no one would have told me there was a way to make it better! This app is overall the most helpful app i’ve tried and i highly recommend it. I showed some of my friends that play band instruments as well and they all thought that this app was really amazing. The exercises are really helpful, like holding out a note long enough so that the (virtual) balloon pops! So clever! Thank you so much for this app and i hope you continue to improve (even though i don’t see anyway this app could get better) I just love this app so much. Bye!

I play flute and I just started using the app due to coronavirus boredom. I can’t even get past level 1 because it says I’m not playing a note. Maybe I’m using it wrong?
