I’m a subscriber to the beaver county times and can log in on their website fine. This horrible app provides no way to log in until you try to read a subscriber only article and then it can’t locate my account with my known good e-mail address and password. Useless app even after the recent version update, so I’ll go back to using a web browser. Update: I see now that this is a very generic app from the newspaper publisher, with a version available for many separate local newspapers. I think the problem is that certain stories that show in the feed are from other locales, and trying to read them takes you to a different website that looks identical to the one you might subscribe to in your area, but your account credentials don’t work for. The lack of any way to log off (or onto) your account or settings is pretty poor implementation and adds to that confusion.
