App Profile: Jambé

The Jambé app is the companion to the Jambé electronic percussion instrument. Every nuance and touch on the Jambé is communicated to the app where it is translated into sound. The Jambé app features a sound engine comprised of a unique sample-based synthesizer and multiple effects processors, all designed around the continuous data from the Jambé percussion instrument. The iPad version adds a complete editor allowing you to customize and create your own kits. The iPhone version only contains the sound engine.

The Jambé app can function without the Jambé electronic percussion instrument attached. This allows you to edit kits from the couch or explore the capabilities of Jambé’s sound engine before purchasing hardware.
