Please fix your app and make this better. I spent $600 on two battery packs and I would expect this app to function better than this.
1: Why do I need to manually enter my battery capacity if I connect mini batteries together???? This should be done automatically and your expensive batteries should recognize these connections.
2: The battery percentages are NEVER accurate. The app provides me with a high percentage and then I will check it again 30 seconds later and then the percentage is completely different and almost dead!!! These things are way too expensive for it to work this badly. It leaves me guessing what my real battery percentage is. This isn’t something we should be guessing. This battery percentage information should be accurate all the time.
3: Update this app and make it work better and more accurately with these expectations batteries. I have no reason to recommend these batteries or this app to anybody. Please fix this and then I will change my rating when it works better.

Just got the B-130x battery and the battery app does absolutely nothing. The Bluetooth light on the battery doesn’t even turn on. The app just says ‘scan’…the circle of death appears on the screen, then just stops circling. How am I supposed to know how much charge my battery has? At least the old B-112 at least had charging lights….but then again the cheap plastic wires were charred black and almost set my car on fire. These devices and accessories can be really great if BlackVue would invest in the actual utilization so that functionality actually works, especially since none of it is cheap.

The battery is literally a black box with no user interface. So you are totally dependent on the app to tell you important things like, I don’t know, how much charge the battery has? And it doesn’t work. Not even kind of. It “connects” through Bluetooth (or so it says) and there’s absolutely no information on the screen except the fields where the values should be. I’d bet this is a UI comp with no backend, just a sleek layout that’s decent to look at. Don’t buy from this company, they don’t respond to issues. Just look at the other reviews.
