Reviews: What People Think About ChemCalc: Chemistry Calculator
A Plus!
Rating: 5/5
This is such an amazing tool for any level chemist. I’m in AP Chemistry currently, and this is such a huge help. I can quickly check my math with the stoichiometry function and the wide array of thermodynamic quantities are so helpful! No more scouring through my textbook! 😄

There is so much more to this app! It’s perfect for both beginner chem and intermediate. I used it as a college student and it was amazingly helpful. I wish there was an app for every subject like this one. It’s crazy that there are no ads and it’s free!!
About ChemCalc: Chemistry Calculator
Struggling in your first chemistry class? Is stoichiometry too time-consuming and difficult for you? Or maybe you're tired of spending 30 minutes trying to figure out that ICE table problem.
You're in the right place. ChemCalc is an all-in-one calculator and reference guide for high school and college chemistry. It features:
• molar mass calculator and converter
• chemical equation balancer
• stoichiometry calculator
• ICE table solver for equilibrium problems
• standard enthalpy/entropy/spontaneity calculator
• colorful table of elements with extensive element data
• searchable lists of compound formulas, polyatomic ions, and thermodynamic quantities
As of 2021, ChemCalc is the only app on the App Store that can solve ICE tables to calculate equilibrium concentrations! Quickly enter in the chemical equation, equilibrium constant, and initial concentration, and you'll be able to verify your answers to those long equilibrium problems.
The app uses algorithms to calculate the molar mass of any chemical compound, with easy converting between grams and moles.
ChemCalc can also balance chemical equations using a complex matrix algorithm, allowing you to double-check your work and recognize reaction patterns.
On top of that, it'll do your stoichiometry for you in less than a minute! You can find the limiting reactant for a given reaction, the amount of excess reactant left, as well as the theoretical yield!
Or, if you want to save time on your thermodynamics homework, enter an equation to calculate the enthalpy of any reaction in seconds!
Additionally, you can quickly search for element data, compound names and formulas, polyatomic ions, thermodynamic quantities, and acid/base dissociation constants.
More calculators and reference tables are in progress, and more can be added with your feedback! Download ChemCalc for free today!
