Best app in the business!! Just had a tournament with 123 boats and it worked flawlessly!!! Also they are very responsive when you have a question! Keep up the great work guys!!

Im surprised there isn’t any actual reviews on this app. I guess I’ll be the first. So, I downloaded the app a few weeks ago because a different app I was using to run tournaments changed and quit working correctly. I needed a new app for a tournament I was running today. I had a few weeks to “play” with the app to get familiar with it before tournament day. The only thing I didn’t have a chance to do, until today, was to use it at a live weigh in. WeighFish is designed for the typical fishing tournament and it does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s easy to use and quick to update results. The tie breaker works as well as I was hoping it would. The sorting works great and is accurate. I didn’t use the payout calculator because I’m used to doing it on paper. I’ll play around with that option more later. The tournament participants (or anyone for that matter) are able to watch the weigh in as it’s happening from the WeighFish website. They don’t need the app to see it. The only criticism we heard from anglers was the website didn’t automatically reload for them. It wasn’t a big deal because they could manually reload the page themselves. Perhaps the developers can consider doing auto reloading of the webpage after each new entry. I love the ability to create the tournament and post the rules/details along with our contact information on the tournament’s web page. It’s an easy way to point people to all the details they need at one spot and get to the live weigh in from the same place. They can even email or call us from there. One thing I would like to see is have the ability for anglers to pre-register for the tournament. I personally don’t want them paying in advance, but getting signed up before tournament day would be awesome! I actually had the opportunity to have a nice email conversation with the developer. He is very quick to respond to questions and open to suggestions. That is a MAJOR plus in my opinion. Overall Im VERY HAPPY with this app and how it performed. It’s better than what I was using before. It truly is free to use without annoying ads. Fellow tournament Directors, try this app!
