The app could be better. Navigation is not the best. It doesn’t have option whereby a partner can see the turn by turn routes before driving. Also it will be better if pick up locations and destinations are marked by postcode instead of with just street names. It easier for the partner and makes driving less stressful. Another thing is that sometimes rides are dispatched too far and at times after driving for a while the rides are cancelled. Add to this rides should be charged for no show. At times you arrive pick up, there is no body. You wait for a while but can’t make contact and cancel the ride and there is no pay for the cancellation. This is not good because it’s discourages partners from accepting rides especially if the pick up point is too far. Still a good app to be part of. Just need some improvements.

This app is BAD!!! and Via Van deducts money from you, when you drive on Blue mode, I then opted to go on flex mode, they give you a grantee fee when it’s on Rocket price, £X amount on 10 minutes trip, it’s takes you 15 minutes but you don’t earn extra 😔, they give you flex promo, with a guarantee £X amount, which is hard to do and if your lucky to do that X amount of trips, they don’t pay guarantee amount as promised, you write to them, they keep changing reasons not to pay you, best excuse I heard from them they say you need to accept 80% of riders offered to you for the promo period, then a rider books a ride and they cancel on you, they use that as a excuse to say you didn’t accept the 20% of rides offered to you, which is no fault of yours, also you go to pick up point and rider is a no show, the rider gets charged a cancellation fee, but drivers do not get paid cancellation fee 😡 I’ve been with them from the beginning but not anymore!!! Trust me Uber is much better anyone driving for Via Van I’m sure you experienced the above, RIGHT!!

I joined them recently and besides the fact that they sell you fake info just to catch you as driver, their app is totally unsafe to use. I’ve been told: “why do you want to use google maps when you have waze?”. Plus there’s no welcoming bonus... Anyway, I counted the minutes from pickup to drop off and found that even though I spent close to an hour with the rider in the car, they paid me only for 31 minutes. They offer you all these promotions, do 9 hours in blue mode out of ten hours in the period and earn x amount, which is impossible in central London, and considering how their minutes are longer than yours. Do not join them! Do uber and keep your earnings high. They charge you 15%, but don’t give you the minutes, making it impossible for you to reach those targets. As example, I did 7 hours of app time in almost 12 hours of effective time. You do the math. And only earned a lousy £180. With uber I would’ve earned £300 in that time. Not doing ViaVan again. If you do decide to join, test for yourself.
