New review: APPLE WALLET FEATURE IS NOT WORKING!!!!! Some of the PAL ground staff in some airports do not accept the virtual boarding pass saved in my Apple Wallet. They said they need the sequence number and unfortunately it is not found in the virtual boarding pass. They instructed me to do a physical check-in to get a physical boarding pass even though I already did a mobile check-in, and I had no baggage to check-in. It defeats the purpose of mobile check-in, right? My suggestion is to put all required information in the virtual boarding pass. I believe the goal of the app is total convenience and going paperless. But it was not achieved. Another thing is, the app does not save my account. So whenever I close the app, I have to log in again. And it is inconvenient. Also, it would be better if all of my bookings are saved in the app already. It’s very hassle to find your booking reference numbers and do a manual search. It would be very convenient that after every successful booking, the booking will be saved automatically in the app. Why do we need to input again the frequent flyer progam during mobile check-in? We already did that during booking. It’s hassle and redundant.
Agree with everything that Bonhuehue wrote in his review. Nothing about this app makes things more convenient. If it’s supposed to function as a wallet it should be more intuitive. Add to that I noticed that whenever I book thru this app, I don’t get my ticket emailed to me. What’s more frustrating is that it’s not even saved in the app’s my trip page so you’ll have to call PAL to ask for your booking details if you were not able to save your booking reference. Another frustrating thing about booking with PAL is that the results of the dates before and after your specified date changes drastically higher when you decide to change your date. Haven’t experienced this when booking with other airlines. If this is a marketing strategy it is not working. It makes me think like I’m being misled.
I booked 7 heads bound to Legazpi on Sept 20-24 today, I am very sure I chose the correct dates as we are basing it via the Price which was only 1,123. I was shocked to see upon confirmation that instead I booked the prior date, the selection is not what we chose, which I am very sure I did not chose. Also UXD is poor, you cannot navigate back to check or recheck or show an easy drop down list on your confirmed dates to verify. Please improve this App! This cost us big amount and hassle as we need to do all things we have planned ahead in just 3-days!!!!! Whew!
