App Profile: Read the Bible in One Year

Yearly lets you systematically read your Bible in a year, with several plans and translations to choose from. It’s a simple app with a single main screen that focuses on one week at a time. Each day of the week is a swipeable card that features wood-engravings from the 19th-century artist Gustave Doré. You can read each day’s reading directly within the app, mark days as read, and keep track of your overall progress. Within Yearly's settings, you can customize your schedule’s start day to begin any day of the year. By default, your start date is set to the day you download and open Yearly for the first time. With just 15-20 minutes of reading each day, you can read the Bible cover-to-cover in a year!

Yearly’s base features are free, and you can enjoy a 1-month free trial for the premium experience. With Yearly premium, your progress and settings are securely saved in iCloud, so they’re always backed up and synced in real-time. Yearly premium sends an optional notification every morning, allowing you to see your day’s reading right from your lock screen. You can customize when you receive this notification and optionally keep a badge on the app icon until the current day’s reading is complete. With Yearly premium, you can also take secure notes on your daily readings.
