My congratulations to the developers of this security tool. I have been in security for over 30 years, with Cisco, PWC, IBM and Accenture, and seen the progression of security products. This app looks very well thought out, and it is easy to install and use. Information is readily available, if I choose to investigate something it has blocked. I would hazard a guess that most consumers have no idea how much data mining is done on their devices without their knowledge. You should really give this app a try and start educating yourself to the security and privacy risks you are exposed to just by virtue of using your mobile device. This app is a tremendous value to blocking those vulnerabilities. Developers: If you guys ever decide to make this even more robust, I for one would be glad to pay a fee for continued security reporting features and additional security checks. Keep up the great work!

I have been in misery for a month because my exboyfriend has been hacking into all my online accounts. I stupidly gave him a couple of my passwords before we broke up be he was “trying to help me find this mysterious hacker”. It wasn’t until we broke up he admitted it was him the whole time and threatened to shutdown my whole phone. Which he did. I bought a new one, called Apple support, took my phone to a device store, installed 3 different mobile security devices and nothing could stop him. I even went to my mobile carrier AT&T yesterday and they refused to help me in any way. Then I ran across Fyde last night and decided to try it. It’s been around 6 or 7 hrs and they already have over 80 hacking sites blocked! All the other mobile security apps just keep saying everything is fine. I finally found Someone who knows what to look for and how to stop it. Plus, they have been texting me all morning checking on my phone and answering all my questions! Thank you Fyde!! Ive used Fyde for months now, with a break now and then, over various incarnations of my iPhone's OS configurations. Im not a network admin by any means, but I'm not you ordinary end user either. This app was perfect to introduce me to a basic look into some of iOS's network chatter, more specifically, server contact. The best part was that I was able to right up front block stuff that had no business communicating or sending requests. And the app plays nicely by itself in the background, no babysitting necessary. Furthermore, Support right from the start was patient and responsive. In general I highly recommend this app to everyone... unless you are a network admin. The only things I think Fyde should consider is being a bit more power-user friendly. Or, rather, be more specific and less vague when it comes to technical aspects. For instance, I have no idea what kind of requests are being made, what the client process is (or isn't), what kind of connection, what protocol.. But I realize that this app's simple user friendliness serves a greater purpose; *Anyone* can use this app. The more people who are introduced to the concept of Infosec, hey, the better! Hats off to the Fyde team- I look forward to seeing them on my other devices 👍🏻
