ABA Wizard

I bought this after 3 BCBA supervisors recommended it to me as one the best - if not the best - ABA study apps. I love the simplicity and accessibility of this app, and its repetition and definition drilling seem on par with some of the other study programs out there that cost hundreds of dollars more. That being said, it’s not as robust as those other programs and could use a deep cleaning to correct spelling errors and clarify questions. As an example, I’m working through C-2 right now and the program seems confused about whether or not permanent product is a direct or indirect measure of behavior. Due to the repeatability of the question format, permanent product is one of the given answers in almost all of the questions, but it’s only the “correct” answer to 2 or 3 of those questions - even though it could be one of the correct answers for at least 2 of the other questions. One of the strengths of this app is that it’s supposed to simulate the BCBA Exam’s nuanced “which is the MORE RIGHT answer?” approach. In some sections though, it fails to provide that nuanced distinction, or at the very least explain to the tester why one answer is better than another. I harp on this because it’s probably the most important aspect of these study resources and something I’m finding frustrating as a consumer - I want to know why I’m wrong, but the solutions you’re giving me say I’m right! I hope this app is still being cared for and will continue to improve with time so ABA students may have an affordable and stress-free resource to study for their exams.

Loving this app so far! Breaks everything down by each section and then 10 questions per each objective in that section. As you go thru if you miss 1 or more of the 10 it was immediately prompt you with the answer and reference. Once you complete all 10 questions in a section correctly it turns green. Love the color visual cues and errorless teaching. Definitely worth the money and honestly would pay more now that I know all that is has. Suggestions to the creator- The following are ideas I’ve had along the way but by no means take away from the 5 star rating. 1.) Go further with the color coding such as red if you score below 50-70% maybe, orange for 70-90% and green is only still for 100%. 2.) I would definitely pay additional money for scenario questions for each section. All questions seem to be more definitional with some scenario but would be awesome to have more scenario. 3.) Pop-up feedback is great. Would love at times if there was more information or a place to get more information even if you chose the right answer. 4.) Love the format of this and using it so easily on my phone. If you came out with mock exams using the same interface I would definitely buy them! Overall such a great app and so worth it for the price. Can’t wait to see what y’all come out with next! 😃👍🏻🙌🏻

This app allows you to practice and provides Cooper references when you answer incorrectly. You can reset if you answer all areas. Very affordable. User friendly. Practice anytime. A varied assortment of questions. Great for taking on-the-go!!!! Progress is not saved across devices, but when you are studying I find it best to repeat. Having it on both devices gives the push I need to repeat modules, even though I might have passed it with flying colors (or not) on the other device.
