I downloaded this app some time ago but just tried it yesterday. It was ok but had several problems that made it very difficult to get to many of the pixels like those icons down the left side of the screen. Those made an incredibly small work area. There were other problems as well and I was pretty sure I would not be spending much time on it. I came back today to give it another shot and all I can say is WOW!!! The update last night really improved this app ALOT. This is now a 5 star app compared to the 2 I would have given it yesterday. I will be spending all my free time here now. The only thing I would like to see changed is the shade of the numbers. They are so light it is really really hard to see them. If you would make the numbers darker this would be a 10 star app.

Edit (08/06): now that I have an iPad, it’s easier to color than on an iPhone. I just updated too and I’m happy to see that finished colors will be checked off now. I am a bit sad to see this go to subscriptions, but I understand why. I am a bit confused on how the new picture update will work. I read with a subscription that there will be a new picture everyday, but with the free (with ads) version, when will there be a new picture update, if any? It really didn’t say, that I could see, unless I missed something. Just installed and tried out a couple of the easy coloring pages to see what it was like, and the coloring was pretty smooth, but I felt the coloring page was a little bit crowded with the special tools on one side the share button a bit low in the upper right corner under the redo button. Some of the numbers were a bit too light and a little difficult to see and the percentage completed in the lower right corner is nice, but having something to indicate when a color is finished would be nice. Will be trying out the other difficulties also. So far it’s better than some of the other pixel color by Number apps I’ve tried.

I’ve downloaded a half dozen color by numbers apps and use them daily because I love them and and every single one of them after you finish a picture you get to see a fast motion video of how you colored it from start to finish. I believe that’s the real satisfaction of any color by number app is seeing the hard work you put in get completed in a short clip. The images are hard which I like but it’s way harder than even I can manage, I spent at LEAST a couple hours each day in one sitting doing one image and it took three days ! 3 hours nonstop is fine but 6hrs+ if I did non stop is too much but I thought hey well the video of me doing it will be amazing since I always zoom in and never see the image normally till it’s completely colored to surprise myself by the video. WRONG I finished and there’s no video so there’s no satisfaction because now I see a colored image but it’s not satisfying if I don’t see it happening ! it feels like I didn’t actually color it then ! It’s just a colored and since I started three days ago doing it hours a day my brain can’t even register it wasn’t colored before because I never see it big until the end which with no clip is so frustrating and a waste of time
