As someone who works on the railway I have to use some pretty odd apps to get the detailed information that I require, but this app has it all and I can’t recommend it enough the only thing I’d love to see in the app is the set/unit number for the whole train as that’d allow me to fully stop using the web tools from worldline. 5/5 Stars Highly recommend
I initially gave this app one star because it wasn’t working and I couldn’t reach the developer. But he replied to my review and we chatted by email. The issue is now resolved and I am really enjoying having a train tracking app that looks great and does what it should. Thank you!!
In theory, this is a fab idea. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work! I searched for a route from London Waterloo to Epsom (it was on the station boards), but this app could not find this route. Update: updated to 4 stars, based on the developer's prompt response; it indicates excellent customer service and builds trust and confidence that bugs are being addressed. If it’s fixed, this would be a five-star app! If there is a wish list, I know this isn’t a route planner and works for direct trains only but one final addition that might help us non-frequent commuters (if possible) is to have an ‘ALL London stations’ option. For example, Epsom is the destination which has direct routes from a couple of London stations (Waterloo and Victoria). It would be great if the app could show these various options which would inform us in selecting the most appropriate route based on station proximity, next train, fastest route etc. Thankyou! Update Now five stars. My go-to app for UK train times. Developer has addressed all points from my previous review. Allows you to be one step ahead of crowds waiting by information boards, helping secure a seat before the platform gets busy.
