Luna: Best VPN for iPhone/iPad

I'm using Luna primarily to block obnoxious ads, primarily in certain ad-happy game apps and on certain websites, like local news affiliates. For those purposes, it does very well, and I'm happy I'm able to play games that used to be unplayable. The only problem so far is overall speed. I'm on Platinum level and find the overall loading speeds when just generally browsing the internet to be extremely slow, to the point of it canceling out any performance improvements you'd expect when blocking ads. It often takes ~10 seconds just to connect to a site that shouldn't take forever to load, for example Google search results or Wikipedia. So, I just turn it on in specific scenarios where I really need it, and for that it is wonderful and does its job. Just wish I could leave it on all the time without it causing so many sites to hang on loading.

Im somebody who isn't very trusting. Im also somebody who really likes to look at stuff outside my country and build connections with other people outside America. Luna has made it possible for me to do all I could on other VPNS and more. After reading their privacy policy I was really pleased, they seem to take the data from the advertisements sent to you to study them. If its to improve their already AMAZING ad blocker, I’m all for it. I didn't see a hint of personal data acquisition or manipulation. Good VPN’s are a absolute necessity for online purchases. Ive had it for a week, I LOVE what it’s done for me for free. I hate ads. They're annoying. BUT I do love earned advertisements, so much so I decided to push it to my friends and even take the time to write this review. It takes some time to build up to Diamond status, but even silver and gold are worth it. Give it a try, share it around, and enjoy Luna, fantastic fast ‘n’ free VPN. No this wasnt a paid review. Dead serious, I really like this service so far.

When I first got this app, I was a little confused by the ‘ranks’. The different ranks give you different perks, and allow you to be more and more informed and overall safe! After turning it on, I kinda forgot about it, noticing the little VPN box next to my provider’s name tag. After I remembered the ranks, I got back on the app, and I went up two ranks! All you need to do to get the ranks is keep it on, or you could buy them, of course. Now, while this app is pretty helpful, and seems to be a really good VPN, it doesn’t make since to me why you get more and more protected as you go along. I can understand streamlining the experience, thus pampering the long-term users of the app, but without being in a certain rank, you can’t even select the location you want to be viewed in (although this process takes maybe a day of waiting). As one who has almost reached Platinum rank (top tier) I can easily say that the performance of this app make up for the lack of info at first. As far as I know, this thing barely drains the battery life on my phone, if at all! You can turn it off, or pause it, so in a couple minutes, an hour, or a day later, the VPN will reactivate. All in all, this is a must have app for anyone looking for a good VPN to have running in the background to keep yourself safe!
