The lack of portrait mode is a very clear indication this application is developed by people who do not use the tools. One handed usage on most devices in landscape mode is impractical and often impossible and it can create an unsafe situation.

We do a lot of dryer vent service where a regular chimney inspection camera is just too big to make it through the bends of most dryers in our area. We have a lot of galvanized Sheet Metal, 4 inch duck that goes up through the wall and finds its way out through the roof and this run can be as far as 30 - 35 feet easily, although people have complained about the connectivity of this camera with the repeater attached, it works very well. Also, I have taken a piece of coaxial cable and wrapped it around the camera, body and my cleaning rod and this is helped with this problem, however be cautious that you don’t lose the cable.

When it works, it works well! I own an iPhone 6, and my son owns the Pixel-3 smartphone. The first WIFI Inspection camera purchased was first tested using my phone, then it was given to my son, who initially experienced difficulty getting it to sync. He was able to get it to work with his phone after consulting with his technicians. Bought a second camera recently, and tested it in a remote area, before taking it to a residence for wire retrieval, which failed horribly after several attempts. I personally feel like the cameras WIFI syncing process might get confused when there are a number of other available WIFI accounts. That’s the story I’m going with, because after I left that home, I went back to that remote location and it started up as if there was no problem.
