Stonehouse Restaurants

Had a fantastic carvery at the Stonehouse. The food was excellent with a great choice of meats, all cooked perfectly, and plenty of fresh vegetables. Everything was hot, tasty, and well presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Great value for money and definitely one of the best carveries around. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

Last time I went for a meal with you, you’d run out of one item, (it was Yorkshire puddings )the chef told me it would be out in 10 minutes and Ito come back and help myself, which I did., Only to be told by a staff member that I had no right to help myself ,I did not like being treated like a child., Went back today to try again after waiting 30 minutes for our dessert ,s , only one came out to the table ,so I went back and said I’m waiting for my desert. (They were both the same apple pie and custard., )and one of your colleague said I can only do what I can do and dismiss me , i won’t be coming back unless there’s a good reason to come back to you because the service has gone downhill, and I always give people a second chance. NOT HAPPY.

UPDATE: used this app a second time today and it STILL does not send order to the Hollybush, Cardiff kitchen! Please FIX. I have no choice but to leave 1 star review because the order I placed on the app didn’t get sent to the kitchen at the restaurant I was in. I ordered ice cream. Waited 20 minutes then checked email confirmation and bank balance to ensure all was done correctly to right location and table then had to go to queue at the bar to chase up the desert which they didn’t have anything on their screens for. Will alter review if I ever use this app again and it works.
