Homer: The Home Management App

I’ve been using Homer for a while now and it really is an incredible app. When loading items to your “home” with a click of your camera, it uses a combination of search engines and AI to identify that item and fill in all of the hard to find information; as they say automagically. I’m not new to the home inventory app field and this app can find product information in about 1 minute that some others have been (currently) trying to find for 2 weeks now. I’ve used their customer support chat feature a couple times when I had questions. I’ve also used the AI bot and both are extremely helpful. Try it, you’ll be happy you did.

I love this app. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. It keeps an inventory of all my household goods and automatically downloads websites, instruction manual, etc. keeps all the receipts in one place. No more closets full of paper instruction manuals for products I got rid of years ago. This is my go to app for everything dealing with my home. I do wish it tracked the warranty of a product. It would be nice to know if a one year or three year warranty was about to expire. My other wish is a barcode scanner for products. It would be nice to scan the barcode on the package and it enters the info for you.

This app has been a huge lifesaver! I am a new home owner but even without ownership of my home I would still have loved to use this app. My number one use is to keep track of all information/product manuals that you get with your appliances and utility items. This way I don’t have a huge bulky stack of manuals taking up my whole file cabinet! This thing makes reaching them a BREEZE!!! The next best thing would be being able to have the timeline of all the repairs and restorations etc. that I am having complete on my home. Just today I had insulation put into my attic and I will always know the age of when things were replaced and installed and if I ever sell it? I have a whole log that can help the next home owner if they have questions during the sale. It’s a win-win! This app may look a bit complex at first but once I started to save a few things here and there I got right into it! Now I am using every aspect of this app to its full ability and I will never need another app for my home unless this one crumbles or goes away lol! Try it out you won’t regret it!
