I have to use this app for all of my graduate school textbooks and it’s been nothing but buggy. The app freezes a lot, the search function is barely useable, you I can’t easily highlight the text without having to re-do the highlight because it messes up the first time. Additionally, the download feature is an absolute joke. I use an iPad to read my textbooks that I’ve supposedly downloaded into the app so I can read them offline, but when I try to access them, the app will not open any of them. You basically always have to be connected to the Internet to access your textbooks. TL;DR The developers got their money from the universities and textbook companies and left us with a barely useable app that hasn’t been updated in 2 years.

There are numerous problems with this app. 1) the app cannot be used offline. If you are not connected to the internet, it takes you to a login screen. 2) downloads don’t work. 3) if for any reason your devices screen locks, you can no longer turn the pages of the book until you close the app and reopen it.

This is a horrible reader. Also it is doing essentially is bringing in PDFs, so they are not responsive. You can enlarge the text and still Have it fit you screen.
