Using an iPhone XSM with iOS 16.4, the MiVue app version 1.0.208, with Firmware, Safety Cam, and Voice updated, running on a MiVue 848 Dashcam. When I approach a speed camera, the language that I hear announcing the camera is CHINESE, then in English it says, “100 kilometers”. WTH?!?!?! Kilometers is fine, but obviously my language is set for English. Why is it giving me Chinese? As there is no app or firmware update, how can this be corrected? Please help. Otherwise, I love the product and ease of use.

Whenever you try to playback a downloaded footage, it would crashed. Tried it on multiple devices running iOS 15, 16, ipad OS all ended up with the same result. Pls QA your product prior to releasing it. I had to pull out the microSD card EVERYTIME i wanted to get a specific footage. So what is the point of paying a premium price and can't even get the promised WiFi feature working😡😤🤬🤮
Update 1: come on developer. Stop acting like it was working all this time. I have seen your standard response to shut down all Bluetooth radios and apps but this is a cellphone that runs many other apps and not just a dedicated phone that runs your Mio app. Your call center also admitted to this issues and just admit it, own it, and fix it already man. Don't u try tobdeny this issues and blame it on the users.

After reinstaling the app I got it to connect to the camera. Now the Live view doesnt work it says the camera is not is a recording view 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

When an incident happens, the dash cam will automatically save the file to the event folder and send footage to the MiVue™ Pro app via WIFI in real-time (WIFI video backup function won’t consume your 3G/4G data, it uses point-to-point transmission technology).
Live View and video organizer
Click “Live View” to adjust horizontal level of the camera before installation. Videos will be categorized by date and type (Normal, Event or Parking mode folders).
Set up your dash cam through the MiVue™ Pro app
Change the settings and format the memory card of the dash cam directly through your smartphone.
WIFI OTA (Over-the-Air) update
Use your smartphone to download and update the firmware, speed camera data and voice versions without having to withdraw the memory card. (Downloading data will consume your 3G/4G data, the update settings may vary depending on the different dash cam models).
