This app is wonderful! Our company has used it for over 2 years and it works great. However recently we created a new kiosk system that is used to scan barcodes using the front camera on the iPad. Unfortunately we can’t use this program anymore because it asks for camera permissions every single time you open the app or every time the page refreshes. This is not practical. We understand the security for webcam access, however if the user allows it in a closed system, it should be fine to allow permanent camera access. Even Safari on the iPad now allows permanent camera access. In Safari and in the iPad settings, we set the camera to “Always Allow”, and in Safari when we open the website, the camera automatically starts with no user prompt. This is how it should also work in Kiosk+ as long as the user gives permission. Please update your app to honor the “Always Allow” setting for the webcam. I’m sure there are many companies that could have use for this to scan barcodes, IDs, take membership pictures, etc. As long as the user sets the permissions it should not be a security issue. Again, even Apple allows this in Safari now. Thank you in advance if you can add this feature it will make the app even more amazing than it already is. :)

I was just talking to someone today about this app and how it isn’t updated so often to get annoying, but it is updated and when it is, they knock down any reasons not to use it (or to use any other tool). My org uses the app to display room schedules outside of reservable spaces, but the possibilities are endless if you need this functionality. If you don’t have a use case, download this app and figure one out.

The app is really great and gets the job done. My only concern is that the scaling of some sites is a bit off. There’s a white bar at the button that extends for Apple’s virtual home button that looks like this: ——— we are using a new iPad Pro. Please correct this scaling issue so that the entire site is filled.
