Reviews: What People Think About Investmate — learn to trade

I’m only on lesson two so it may be beneficial behind the basics. I’m not completely new to the terminology or to trading but I’m far from an expert. I like this app because it starts with the absolute basics of investing and its terminology. When clicking a definition, the sept explanations are good, but sometimes it includes info or an example that leaves me scratching my head. I like the quizzes because it gives me idea of what I took away from the lesson, but I didn’t see the option, to be able to review the incorrect questions so I can go back and review the material for them. Overall, good app if you want to start somewhere and not spend hours googling and going from page to page and site to site.

This app is fantastic! I’m a hands on learner and I love the overall idea of being able to learn while putting that knowledge to practice in the app. Such a great way for people new to stocks and the market in general to get a base knowledge and begin to understand how it works. I love the lessons and how they are payed out! Being able to get definitions of unfamiliar words throughout the lessons is incredibly helpful. My one and only drawback is the quizzes. They don’t really help in regards to learning and having to review answers to got wrong, it just prompts you through the quiz to the end. If I was back in college I would love this, but for the sake of actually learning and retaining the information, the quizzes are honestly a bit of a let down. That said, the app as a whole makes up for it and is well worth your time!

So far so good, but I have a couple suggestions. Are you able to make it also be supported on iPad? I’m trying to reduce my screen time on my phone and yes even switching to my iPad helps. I see it as a computer not phone so it’s less problematic. How’s the thought of *the option* (not mandatory for users) to create an account to save progress? This sort of links to the lack of iPad support (yes I can access it but it’s not optimized for iPads). If I had an account I could easily switch between from my iPad to iPhone for when I’m on the go.
