I really like how easy this app makes getting research notes out of books. Scanning bar codes and OCR has been pretty smooth, even with relatively obscure reference books. Got the yearly membership for that reason. Would very much like to see the ability to do an author search (as someone else mentioned) and search for multiple tags at once—right now I can’t search for notes that are tagged both “trust” and “promise,” for example, which means a lot of scrolling. Would love to see this continue to be developed- might even recommend it to students once it has enough going for it! Edit: Author search works well now! Still want the ability to search my notes from the app, though I can export them for search elsewhere, so it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. Very nice functionality! Very glad I have this!
I wanted an app that I could quickly scan my existing books before moving house; Granted, the scanning of barcodes is easy, but some of the major publishing houses aren’t included (eg penguin), even when manually add in by ISBN number. Very disappointed with the organization too - doesn’t even have a simple “sort by author”... who wants to go to a bookstore and search through titles to confirm if already in their collection? Logic and ease would dictate author search being much more convenient than by title.. can have 200 in your library with “The” as the first word.... but only a few with the author name!!! Good idea, poorly executed.
Love the app and how it operates! I wish I could connect with friends tho. Everything operates through popular Chinese apps/ social media. I’d love it if you could connect with Goodreads and Facebook! Also, if you could make it so that we can rate the books as we read them that’d be great!
Collect your books reading notes in one place by simply pointing your camera at the paperbacks. Managing your reading notes has never been so effortle...
